The role of Afghan Diaspora in the Afghan Mechanism for Inclusive Peace Process

As per our engagement in Afghan Mechanism for Inclusive Peace (AMIP), BRD participated in the discussion organized by AMIP secretariat on the latest progress of AMIP activities since our last meeting I Brussel, including the thoughts and reflection of the participants on the role of the diaspora in the current peace process and how they can further strengthen the current mechanism.

BRD  highlighted that diasporas role is the key by conveying the voices those who live in exile, , reaching to the decision maker and those who can influence  the section power, to ensure the outcome of the peace process reflect inclusive society and increasing the collective strength of the mechanism which can be the key for changing the positions of the  negotiating party at the negotiation table.
